Spiritual Reflection

A very good friend of mine sent me this some time ago.  Who doesn’t want to do this?  I guess if you want to do this you might not want to watch the news….Ukraine, mass shootings, gas prices, bullying in schools, lack of church attendance, anger and a lot of impatience.  But Jesus says, as reported in the Gospel of John, I came that you may have joy and have it to the fullest.

So what’s that?  I read that Joy is to reserve a place for Jesus and relax in his presence.  The famous writer, Belloc, said that when the Catholic sun shines, there’s music, laughter and good red wine.  I pray that we can let our focus on Jesus get us through what we are experiencing now in our Country and ENJOY the laughter, music and good red wine.  Thinking of all you who support and pray for us brings a great deal of joy to me.  Thank you!  So I wish you the little moments when you can “Live, Love and Laugh.”
