The picture for our Wednesday reflection is to remind you that the Vincentian Parish Mission Work is always going in the RIGHT direction and we have you to thank for it. Thanks for your continual support and prayers.
My reflection is the importance of the MESSAGE behind the words that are spoken. Here are the most famous ones: They all came from Jesus on the Cross. “I’ll be with you always”, the message He never said goodbye. “Father forgive them”, the message any sin can be forgiven. “My God, why have you abandoned me?”, the message He never lost faith. “You will be with me in paradise”, the message as my sister Mary Ann says, Heaven’s in your future. “John, there’s your Mother and Mary there’s your son”, and of course the message the importance of family. And finally, “I thirst”, the message it is okay to hurt.
Words are important and they do make a difference but sometimes the messages behind those words are far more powerful and meaningful. And Jesus is right, “Say what you mean and mean what you say. Your words and messages of hope to the Mission Center are very appreciated.
