The majestic mountains we encounter…
Climbing mountains is fun for a lot of people. Some mountains, when we have to climb them, are not a lot of fun.
We manage to climb them because in some mysterious way God gives us the necessary strength to grasp beyond our reach and we survive.
But there are also mountains that reflect the majesty and grandeur of God the creator. The photograph for this reflection is a picture of Pikes Peak overlooking Colorado Springs.
Such a beautiful view and a sign of God’s power. I guess a message for me is, that in the midst of the mountains placed before me there are always other ones that don’t need to be climbed but enjoyed.
I hope that you don’t have too many mountains to climb, but are in the presence of so many signs of God’s power, love and majesty.
Even snow looks good when its on the top of Pikes Peak.
