Spiritual Reflection

This picture shows some of the devastation here in California.  Fr. Bob and I are conducting a parish mission not too far from the destruction of the Eaton fire.  The response of the people to their brothers and sisters who have lost everything is quite moving.  We experienced people coming here to Holy Angel’s parish for financial assistance and the love shown for them is really remarkable.  It is just another example of how wonderful the Catholic church is and we don’t always hear about it.  Since the theme of our mission is “never lose hope” we got a firsthand example of why we should never lose hope!
